Check out Lightyear Alliance's new corporate website: http://www.lightyearalliance.com. The replicated sites will have a similar look and feel to this as well.

You referring to Josh Delaney (Spell?). He worked in the group that I joined back when I started Excel (2 months before it went away). He won like Regional of the year or something like that. http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm...endid=24374133 Theres a link to the Josh I'M talking about. Honestly, I'm glad things worked the way they did. Some people in that group were honest, but others were WAYYYYY unethical about how they built the business. Now in FDI, it's 100% ethical. It's good, because it's actually setup so it's practically IMPOSSIBLE to cheat the company...which means it'll be around for the long run. |

I think Mike is referring to Josh Henderson. Yes, I too remember him in Excel and I will say that he's even more passionate now, and I love it! Josh is the President of Lightyear and his passion and commitment to the reps has been amazing. The guy is driving and flying all over the country helping teams with their meetings and trainings. He's also on a mission to build Lightyear into the company that the reps want it to be. I've only been in the company for 7 weeks and he's already called me a few times to get my input on things I'd like to see in the company. I'm so impressed with his professionalism and passion. Sherm is the telecom guy, but Josh is the entrepreneur. All Josh talks about on the Vice President calls we have is how proud he is about all the people making money in Lightyear. When I broke the top 10 last month both he and Sherm called me on a 3-way to congratulate me. I'm also very impressed with how much Josh includes the leadership with the training and development of the corporate staff. He had some of the National Marketing Directors come to the home office to help with the training of the rep support staff. When I first joined Lightyear I had an hour long conversation with Josh. He fully admitted to me that when they first launched Lightyear they were telecom guys trying to lead a MLM company in the right direction. By his own admission it didn't work. Then he made the best move ever and formed the National Marketing Director title. This was a title VP's could reach after achieving a certain income and volume in their group. The benefits included a travel expense account, leadership perks, but most importantly NMD's became advisors to the company. Josh and Lightyear began to listen to the reps and what they wanted. The result is the Lightyear that's in place today and it's amazing! Best to you Mike!

Why is it that most MLM companies have titles like Rep, Director, Regional Director, Senior Director, Training Director, etc?
I want to see some titles like:
I'm just say'in.

Well in this case the title "National Marketing Director" makes sense for their task description. They are responsible for helping to direct the marketing efforts of the rep base on a National scale.
You're a funny guy Mike, I like your approach to everything, you have a good sense of humor. On the serious side I think the official sounding titles (Regional Director, Vice President, etc) give people a sense of accomplishment. It's more of a pyschological thing than anything.
